Third Gardel Award nomination in a row!

Tanghetto obtained its third nomination for a Gardel Award in a row, and it could be its second award in 2 years. This time the acknowledged album is "VIVO", the first volume of the double live album recorded around the world by Tanghetto. The two other nominations were in 2009, "El Miedo a la Libertad" (winner) and in 2010 "Más Allá del Sur". The Gardel Award is the most important prize in the argentine music industry, somehow equivalent to the Grammy in the US.

New Tanghetto concert series every Sunday in Buenos Aires (Esquina Homero Manzi)

From Sunday 24th of July on, Tanghetto will start a periodic series of concerts in the famous "Esquina Homero Manzi", a very nice hybrid between a tango café and a professional theatre.

First two dates are on the 24th and 31st of July, 18 hs. Corner of San Juan & Boedo, Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

Dates in Colombia 2011 - Bogotá

The band will play again next thursday 22nd of July in Bogotá, at the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Theatre.

Dates in Colombia 2011 - Medellín

Tanghetto will perform on the 25th and 26th of June in Medellín for the very first time. The first concert will take place outdoors at the Parque de los Deseos, as part of the big "Festival de Tango de Medellín". On the 26th, another open air event, at Ciudad del Río. Both events are free.

Tanghetto @ Latinomaericando Expo 2010

Next 12th of August, Tanghetto will headline the evening in the Latinoamericando Expo 2010, held annually at the Mediolanum Forum. Latinoamericando is maybe the biggest latin american culture and music event in Europe, for its lenght, amount of artists and people affluence.
